The Quality OB program is a concise, effective perinatal focused learning series that ensures maximum knowledge acquisition and retention. It also includes clinical judgement assessment through the creative use of microsimulation.
The program covers six competency-based topics related to high-risk patient safety issues: Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM), Postpartum Hemorrhage, Hypertension in Pregnancy, Shoulder Dystocia, Trial of Labor After Cesarean (TOLAC), and Effective Communication and Event Disclosure. The modules provide opportunity for reinforcing ongoing knowledge with the goal of helping to improve patient outcomes.
